Ovijit brings over twelve years of experience in the accounting profession, having held diverse roles in various organisations before joining Elliotts Accounting as a Tax Accountant in October 2023. With a strong educational background that includes a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from Bangladesh, a Diploma in Accounting from TAFE, and a specialised short course in Taxation from H&R Block, Ovijit has gained a strong understanding of both international and Australian tax systems.

Since relocating to Australia in 2018 and settling in Toowoomba, Ovijit has continually sought to enhance his expertise, currently pursuing his Chartered Accountancy qualifications with CA ANZ. His eight years of experience as an accountant in Dubai, coupled with his time in Australia, have given him a broad perspective on the ever-evolving landscape of Accounting and Taxation.

His areas of expertise include tax minimisation, business consulting, GST management, tax planning, and bookkeeping services. His dedication to providing tailored, up-to-date advice makes him a valuable asset to his clients.

Outside of work, Ovijit enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Rumpa, and their two sons, aged seven and one. Family activities often involve soccer, badminton, barbecues, road trips, park visits and discovering new destinations.
